The Hebrew word for the weapon "bow" is the same as the word they use for rainbow. Did God hang his "weapon" in the sky as a reminder?

I sat this morning with 2 of my friends. 1 Protestant, and one changed to United. We talked about church, life in church, and yes, Doctrine.

I'm sure SoE's "prayer" postings on another thread reminded many of us of the format we heard throughout our years in the NAC. And, the thing is this... I have even become deeper in my faith. Deeper because of what I read here and what I hear in my services.

I analyze both and spend endless hours discussing my faith, and this board...and still, I see no other truth.
