So I've been following this board for several months now anonymously, and must ask the following questions:

If you have so much against the NAC, why haven't you left?
If you have left the NAC, what is the point of your rantings?

I suspect this will be an entertaining thread. Try to be objective and leave the venom from your history with the NAC out of your responses please.

I believe it should more aptly be put as:

because when it comes down to the nitty-gritty, members have been trained to abandon family and friends for scheduled church events and activities.

I have questions.

If one believes that "belief" is the basis for being saved, why is the place of worship important? Would one be MORE saved elsewhere...saved is "saved"? What exactly must one believe in, to believe? Does "belief" require "understanding"? If so, how much understanding is required for one to believe? Does increased knowledge serve to affirm or to increase belief? Can belief be quantified?

It sure looks like the NAC is sliding off into the abyss now Closing congregations, resignations, begging the Sheeple for money ( more than normal)

Doesnt it seem like a wake up call when the buildings are not maintained, attendance is dropping, that there will be a point that the coffers are empty, and the NAC no longer is financially able to exist?

What will the Sheeple do when they go one Sunday morning, and find the doors closed and the locks changed?...

Recent Note to "Lost Souls"?

I was just referred to this board and wish I had saved a copy of a recent note my sister sent to me. This is the same sister that has asked me every now and again over the last 25+ years when I would return to "THE FAITH". I usually simply deflect the conversation or gently remind her I am a member of another church and am raising my children in that faith. Sometimes I go further and remind her of my belief that there is no one right way.
