I received it from a reliable source that ministers were essentially forced to sign an employment contract or be fired (lose their office). The contact includes committing to promote and teach the catechism and also claiming that the ministerial vows made at the time of ordination included loyalty to the NAC.
Further, as a result of said employment contract, at least one evangelist and one rector in the southern California area have resigned their offices within the last two weeks. Not sure how many others will follow.
It will definitely be interesting to see (not that I really care) how many ministers are actually left in the LA Area when Jean Luc makes his planned Thanksgiving time visit.
