This is NOT a complaint but a place to discuss Myule's suggestion. Wait, it is also not just about Myule's suggestion and this one subject but about the number of threads being opened for each (minor?) subject in general. OK, I know, a person's own subjects are never just a minor subject ;-)

Myule has opened a thread about the generous Canadian donation to the Red Cross and suggested that posts are moved to "his" thread from the $10,000 donation by DAp Freund thread. I can see the merit that the Canadian donation is handled in its own thread but I also have certain reservations about the boundlessly growing number of threads. Heck, I even can't find my own older threads sometimes ;-)

Myule's wish for a separate thread for each separate subject notwithstanding: if every subject has its own thread, we can't find anything here anymore. This is a personal observation, maybe it is I who is too clumsy. I prefer catchy subject headlines which express the content and also leave room to sort more posts into the respective thread, if possible. Since both threads deal with donations for the same cause and to the Red Cross, I can live with one thread. Myule's wish to keep statistics about the number of positive or negative remarks can be fulfilled either way.

Now back to the general question about number of threads ... it's your turn!

(Edit : "Bertie" changed to "Myule")
