Are any of the apostles who received approx. $100,000 hush money (and a free house) willing to come forward to assist with ongoing investigations?

Do you still have copies of the oath of silence you signed?

Does your house still belong to the church or has it been transferred to your name?

Is your family aware of the oath you signed? If the house is not in your name, what happens in the event of your death?

Would you agree that signing that oath was tantamount to "pulling the wool even further over the members' eyes"?

Following on what deaconess wrote above... knowing that you aided in deceiving members, would you be willing to come forward and set the record straight and
clear your conscience in the process?

When will it all end, Dear God When??????????
When will all the wrongs be corrected, when OH DEAR when. Never in my life as a young Sunday school child then as a youth member could I ever have imagined what goes on behind the scenes. Then to add insult to the already badly injured, to hear from the Apostles; "WE MUST FORGIVE" "MINISTERS ARE ONLY HUMAN" Is this being human, or being downright and deliberately deceitful? |

This "investigation" has been ongoing for some time! Check out this thread too :

Sounds like a lot of Hooooie to me.Sure, bertie, seeing how you refuse to believe that there could ever be anything "wrong" in this church. Tell me, do you believe that I will post stuff like this unless I am able to back it up? And what if I tell you one of the apostles in question contacted me, purely because his guilty conscience was a big burden to him? |

Hi Brenda,
Just curious ... are you talking about all "retired Apostles" and under the "Kraus regime"? Or does this include active Apostles in the USA? Yours in Christ,

Brenda, is there a reason that you resurrected this topic now? That original post is from 4 years ago, so I'm wondering if something has happened on this
subject? Just curious.

Retired apostles under the Kraus regime. I am not sure whether any of the current apostles are aware of the happenings in the past... Although, if the homes
are still listed as church property, it should reflect on current records and those "oaths of silence" are probably kept in a safe place.
Katherine, I had a conversation with someone a couple days ago and the subject came up, so it was decided to start this thread in the hopes that some new information might come to light. The investigations never stop, but in some instances the tracks are covered pretty good... |

Brenda,
Do you know and can you share whether the money came out of church funds or Kraus's pocket? I heard years ago he gave brand new cars to all the apostles, supposedly out of his own pocket. If it was with his own money, to some extent he was free to do what he wanted with it (any conflict of interest aside) Morse |

I can check up on that. I believe 9 apostles were involved, that's almost $1,000,000. You think he'd have paid that much out of his own pocket, and
even if he did, why would an apostle pay that amount of money in exchange for "silence"? I know at least one of the retired apostles was aware of
some of the "transactions" that took place...
Anything but "godly", I can tell you that...

What do you want me to say, bertie, other than what I've written above? You know who the retired apostles are under the Kraus regime.
And besides, bertie, this thread was addressed to retired apostles, not to you... they know what it is about.

There are some that when faced with the facts choose to look the other way no matter what. This is the first I heard of this payoff, however, I don't find
it unbelievable.
What I would find unbelievable are the following: A general contractor running away with a whole bunch of the cash on a church building A construction manager who 'fiddled while Rome burned' An NBO who was none the wiser despite a non-existent construction schedule, no forseeable progress, and continued empty reassurances A church who was then sued by the general contractor's subcontractor because of non-payment That to me would be unbelievable - but Bertiesb, you know it's true So payoffs to apostles - not so unbelievable from this location |
