In minutes 48:22 - 49:45 of the video, Chief Apostle Schneider clarifies his doctrine about who can be the Bride of Christ. He tells the audience that only those who are prepared by his NAC Apostle ministry can become the Bride of Christ. He said there is no other way possible and that it is his belief that Jesus needs his ministry to prepare the Bride.
In it's official publication, Catechism of the New Apostolic Church in Questions and Answers, the doctrine taught about the Bride of Christ contradicts this teaching of Chief Apostle Schneider.
On Page 190 under the heading "The doctrine of future things", question number 561, "Who will be caught up at the return of Christ?", the doctrine stipulated refutes the teaching of Chief Apostle Schneider in the video.
Quote: "The rapture at the return of Christ is first of all promised to those who have been granted the rebirth out of water and the Spirit, who believe in Jesus Christ, and who follow Him. This group is also called the "bridal congregation" or the "male child" (Revelation 12:5). Whether God will also grant the grace of the rapture to others is beyond human judgment and is subject to the decision of God".
The doctrine taught by Chief Apostle Schneider in the video and the doctrine taught in the NAC Catechism cannot be reconciled. They diametrically oppose each other and cannot coexist.
Contrary to what Chief Apostle Schneider teaches, according to the doctrine taught in the Catechism, sealed members who leave the New Apostolic Church to attend a different Christian Church, for any reason, can still become the Bride of Christ.
From the responses received so far to the questions posted to the NAC ministers about the doctrine on the Bride of Christ, it is clear that the majority of them disagree with the teaching of Chief Apostle Schneider and do not support his version of it.
Does this indicate another doctrinal schism in the New Apostolic Church?
